All pieces are little wooden pieces. Very good quality. Nothing that will easily be broken. My granddaughter loves that she can push it around to "deliver food to her brothers."
Assembly will take at least a couple of hours so prepare accordingly. We were missing one of the “E” screws - but hubby was able to improvise. I suggest checking your hardware before you get started and make sure you have all the pieces listed in the manual.
My 2 yr old absolutely loves this toy. The features are very realistic and offers an enriched playing experience.
It’s surprisingly easy to move around with the functioning wheels.
There are spaces for storage but it lacks a bin or basket to actually store stuff in.
I do really like that the condiment area has a plexiglass front cover which stops the trays from being pushed all the way out the front.
Very cute food cart. Quality is similar to the Melissa-Doug brand. Comes with lots of play-pretend food items that are made of wood and feels very sturdy. Only the pan (metal) and the paper cups are different. Assembly can be quite challenging and long to put together. I think it too me 2 hours to put it together.
The instructions aren't the best also so you have to be careful to use the correct the screws and assemble in the correct orientation. Had to redo the Open/close sign because there was no proper reference. Plus I was short 2 screws so I have to find some replacement screws to complete the assembly. Using a screwdriver is best as the boards use a plastic attachment to the screws and can damage the board if you apply too much pressure using a power drill so be careful. The opening doors (fridge and oven) are attached via rubber bands so they may not last long to usage. The ice dispenser is pretty cool in that it can actually dispense fake ice cubes. The oven tray is a tad short so it gets loose. Overall, it's a very cute food card with lots of play pretend items that is great for small kids. Has a metal bell and chalkboard for extra fun. And the wooden wheels on the cart works great to transport the cart.
